Nishaad Ruparel

Nishaad Ruparel is currently serving as President at Ascend, a role assumed in November 2023, focused on revitalizing public accounting with support from Alpine Investors. Concurrently, Nishaad holds the position of Investor in Residence at Alpine Investors since August 2023, tasked with launching a middle market services investment within the firm's $4.8 billion flagship fund. Prior experience includes a Senior Associate role at AEA Investors LP from August 2018 to July 2021, where the focus was on consumer, retail, and services sectors, as well as an Investment Banking Analyst position at J.P. Morgan from June 2016 to August 2018, primarily within the Financial Sponsor Group. Nishaad earned an MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business and a Bachelor's Degree in Finance and International Business from NYU Stern School of Business.
