Alicia Alva

Alicia Alva has extensive work experience in various roles in the mental health and operations field. Alicia most recently served as the Vice President of Operations at Shine Mental Health since March 2023. Before that, they held the same position at Ascend Behavioral Health from August 2022, and they were also a Program Director at Ascend Behavioral Health from May 2021 to September 2022. Alicia has also served as Vice President of Operations at Sierra Meadows Behavioral Health and Oasis Eating Disorders Recovery since August 2022.

Prior to their roles in mental health, Alicia worked at Central Valley Training Center, Inc. where they held multiple positions including Executive Director of Operations from February 2020 to May 2021, Director of Operations from October 2018 to February 2020, Regional Director of Operations from August 2014 to October 2018, and Program Director from October 2013 to July 2014.

In addition, Alicia has previous experience as an Account Executive at Tangram Interiors from September 2012 to October 2013, and as a Program Director and Program Services Coordinator at The MENTOR Network from December 2008 to September 2012.

Alicia Alva holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Social Work from California State University, Fresno, which they obtained from 2003 to 2008. Alicia later pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Phoenix from 2009 to 2012.
