Samantha Garcia

Samantha Garcia is an Associate Marriage & Family Therapist at Ascend Behavioral Health since January 2023, previously holding the position of Marriage & Family Therapist Trainee at Birdie Lou Counseling Center and Fresno Family Counseling Center. With experience in providing free therapy services through both Telehealth and in-person sessions, Samantha has facilitated individual, child, couple, family, and group therapy. Additionally, Samantha worked at RCS Fresno as a Marriage & Family Therapist Trainee and served as an Advocate, managing a 24-hour crisis line and responding to hospital and house calls for victims of sexual assault. Samantha holds a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Child Counseling and a Bachelor's degree in Sociology and Chicano Studies, both from California State University, Fresno.
