Manar Alazma

Manar Alazma is the Chief Product Officer at Ascend Learning, overseeing the global product strategy for the healthcare product portfolio and integrating AI into healthcare learning since April 2025. Prior to this role, Manar served as Vice President and General Manager of Conversational AI at Microsoft, leading the development of AI-powered voice and digital customer experience solutions from January 2017 to April 2025. Manar also held the position of Vice President of Products at Huawei, focusing on cloud-based telecommunications solutions from January 2011 to January 2017, and was Vice President of Product Management at Redline Communications, where strategic evaluations led to board approval of new directions from January 2009 to January 2010. Earlier experience includes significant achievements in product management and engineering at Nortel Networks from January 2004 to January 2009, where revenue and market share significantly increased. Manar holds an MBA from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from Carleton University.
