Pankaj Varma has a diverse work experience in the field of cyber security and software development. Pankaj has worked as a Technical Project Lead at Ascend Learning, where they managed a team performing Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) and worked on various security measures such as SAST, DAST, OWASP Top 10, and network security.

Before this, Pankaj held the position of a Technical Team Lead - VAPT at Happiest Minds Technologies. Here, they also led a team in performing VAPT and focused on areas like SAST, DAST, OWASP Top 10, and Secure Code Review.

Pankaj has also worked as a Cyber Security Specialist at Xoriant and as a Cyber Security Engineer at ALTEN India, gaining valuable experience in the cyber security field.

Pankaj started their career as a Technical Support Engineer at Nisum, where they worked on VAPT, OWASP Top 10, and Secure Coding. Prior to that, they worked as a Cyber Security Analyst at MindScripts Technology, performing VAPT and assisting the development team in writing secure coding.

In addition to their cyber security roles, Pankaj also worked as an Application Engineer at Torqus Systems Private Limited and ECG, where they gained expertise in Java SE, Java EE, Struts framework, Hibernate, and Oracle 10g technology.

Pankaj Varma began their education in 2004 at Kendriya Vidyalaya Punjab Lines, Meerut (U.P), where they completed their Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) studies in an unspecified field of study. In 2006, they continued their education at the same school and obtained their Secondary School Certificate (SSC) in the field of Science.

In 2007, Pankaj enrolled at ABES Engineering College and pursued a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Information Technology. Pankaj successfully completed their studies in 2011.

Afterward, in 2012, Pankaj attended IACSD Pune and obtained a Diploma in Advanced Computing (DAC) with a focus on Computer Programming.

In addition to their formal education, Pankaj Varma has also acquired several certifications. In June 2010, they received SUN Certification in J2EE from NIIT Limited. Later that year, in December 2010, they obtained SCJP-1.6 / OCPJP-1.6 certification in Java SE from Oracle. Most recently, in October 2021, they became a National Security Database Certified Bug Bounty Researcher through ISAC (Information Sharing and Analysis Center).
