Karen Lizeth Soto Castillo

Karen Lizeth Soto Castillo has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Karen Lizeth started their career as a Webmaster Assistant at Tecnológico de Monterrey, Campus Aguascalientes, where they managed and updated websites and created IT solutions for process improvement. Karen Lizeth then worked as an IT Project Lead in a freelance capacity, leading development, design, and implementation teams for various web applications and databases.

Moving forward, Karen joined WSS Group as an ETL Consultant and ETL Developer, where they worked on data integration projects. Karen Lizeth then gained experience as a QA Lead at HCL Technologies, where they created and implemented test plans, hired and trained test teams, and ensured project success by keeping the tests on schedule and controlling changes.

After that, Karen worked at Oracle as a Project Manager on Movement to Cloud projects, successfully refining scope and requirements, engaging cross-functional teams, and creating standard templates for project reports. Karen Lizeth also utilized tools such as OBIEE, Jira, Confluence, and Zephyr for project tracking.

In their next role as a Project Coordinator at Adelantus Inc, Karen scoped and assigned resources, monitored and controlled several projects, and set objectives with customers. Finally, their most recent position was as a QA Lead and Project Manager for process improvement initiatives at Ascend.

Throughout their career, Karen has demonstrated strong leadership skills and the ability to successfully manage projects and teams. Karen Lizeth has expertise in QA, project coordination, and process improvement, and has worked with various tools and technologies to achieve project goals.

Karen Lizeth Soto Castillo has a strong educational background in both business and information technologies. Karen Lizeth obtained a Master's degree in information technologies from the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara, which they attended from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree in information technologies from the Tecnológico de Monterrey, Campus Aguascalientes, studying from 2008 to 2013.

In 2018, Karen pursued further education by enrolling in the EGADE Business School, where they completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on administration and general business management. Karen Lizeth successfully completed the program in 2020.
