Josh Almeida

Josh Almeida has a diverse work experience, beginning in 2001 as an Audio Visual Technician for the City of Orlando Convention Services. In 2004, they accepted a position as a Visual Systems Installer and Project Manager for General Projection Systems. In 2005, they joined Technomedia Solutions as a Project Manager for ServiceNET EXP, where their duties expanded to include managerial responsibilities in 2007. In 2010, they became an Interactive Designer and Themed Entertainment Projectionist for JA Solutions. In 2011, they founded Ascend Studios, where they served as President and Artist. In 2019, they were made an Official Member of the Orlando Business Journal Leadership Trust.

Josh Almeida completed a Show Production & Touring degree from Full Sail University in 2003, focusing on live audio, video, lighting, and management. Prior to this, they attended Lake Howell High School and studied theatre/theater. In addition, Josh has obtained a number of certifications, including Cool Sign - Digital Signage Systems (System Design, Ver. 4.0) in 2009, BSS Audio (HiQnet London Architect) in 2008, Media Matrix (NWare design) in 2005, Crestron (Programmer, Level 1) in 2003, Crestron (Crestron installer) in 2003, and BSS Audio (Soundweb Designer) in 2002.
