Eddie Thai

Eddie Thai is a General Partner at Ascend Vietnam. Prior to joining Ascend, Eddie was a Partner at 500 Startups Vietnam, where they launched the firm's Vietnam-focused fund and supported ecosystem development activities. Prior to 500 Startups, Eddie served as the Director for Asia at the Harvard Alumni Association Board of Directors, responsible for increasing and deepening alumni engagement through an array of programs that support alumni communities worldwide.

Eddie has also served on the Steering Committee of NextGen Vietnam and as a Member of the Corporate Advisory Board for UNICEF Viet Nam. In addition, they were the Director of Strategy & Corporate Development at CJ CGV Vietnam.

Eddie Thai pursued a Bachelor's degree in Government and Economics (secondary) at Harvard University. Afterwards, they obtained their MBA in Entrepreneurship & Private Equity from Yale University.
