Senior Stress Engineer at Ascendance Flight Technologies

Jean-Michel BORLOT began their work experience as a Stress Engineer at Labinal in March 1997. Jean-Michel worked in this role until July 2005. From July 2005 to December 2009, they served as a CFRP Stress Engineer at LATECOERE GROUP. In this position, they were responsible for stress analysis in composite materials. From January 2010 to December 2010, they took on the role of CFRP Stress Leader at LATECOERE GROUP. Jean-Michel became the R&T Stress Leader at the same company in July 2011 and held this position until September 2016. During this time, they also worked as a CFRP Stress and Test Engineer, focusing on the A350XWB Test Pyramid and Roof panel and validating stress tools for certification. From September 2016 to January 2022, Jean-Michel served as a Composite stress analyses referee at LATECOERE GROUP. Finally, beginning in September 2016, they became a Composite Materials Expert R&T Innovation at LATECOERE GROUP and held this role until June 2023. Currently, they are a Senior Stress Engineer at Ascendance Flight Technologies, starting in July 2023.

Jean-Michel BORLOT's education history starts with their completion of the Baccalauréat E (mathématiques et technique) from Lycée Technique Jean Dupuy (Tarbes) in the academic years between 1987 and 1990. Jean-Michel then attended Lycée Technique DÉodat de Séverac (Toulouse) for their Classes préparatoires Math sup/Math Spé T', from 1990 to 1992. Following this, Jean-Michel pursued a degree in Mécanique et aérotechnique, option aérodynamique et thermique at ISAE-ENSMA, where they obtained their Diplôme d'ingénieur from 1992 to 1995.
