Jérôme Perrin's work experience includes various roles in the field of aerodynamics and CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) engineering. Jérôme is currently serving as the Flight Physics and Aerodynamics Lead at Ascendance Flight Technologies starting from July 2022.
Prior to this, they worked at Scuderia AlphaTauri F1 Team for a significant period. Their roles at AlphaTauri included being the Aerodynamics Team Leader from October 2020 to June 2022, Deputy Aerodynamics Team Leader from May 2019 to September 2020, Senior CFD Aerodynamicist from January 2015 to April 2019, and CFD Aerodynamicist from February 2014 to December 2014.
Before joining AlphaTauri, Jérôme worked as a CFD Engineer at Force India F1 from January 2011 to February 2014. Prior to that, they briefly served as a CFD Research Engineer at Carlin Motorsport from April 2010 to August 2010.
Their career started with an internship as a Stress Engineer at Citroën Racing from April 2009 to September 2009.
Throughout their career trajectory, Jérôme Perrin has gained extensive experience in the aerodynamics and CFD fields, working with top motorsport teams and participating in various research and engineering projects.
Jérôme Perrin completed their education in a chronological pattern. In 2006, they started attending Centrale Lille, where they pursued a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Perrin dedicated himself to this field until 2009, when they successfully obtained their degree. Subsequently, Perrin continued their education at Cranfield University, commencing in 2009 and concluding in 2010. During this time, they focused on the field of Automotive/Motorsport Engineering and Management, completing their studies and earning a degree in MSc Motorsport Engineering and Management.
