Barbie Rivero has extensive experience in the insurance industry, currently serving as an Underwriter at Ascendant Insurance since November 2015. Prior to this role, Barbie held underwriting positions at Star Casualty Insurance Company from July 2006 to November 2015 and at GAINSCO as a Senior Underwriter from August 2005 to July 2007. Barbie's career in insurance began at Southern Group Insurance Management, where the role of Customer Service Representative was held from August 1995 to August 2005. Barbie graduated from Miami Dade College with an Associate of Arts degree, completing studies from 1991 to 1994.
