Andy Hawkins

Andy Hawkins is an experienced financial professional currently serving as the Financial Controller for Ascendant since January 2025, focusing on Finance as a Service (FaaS) for e-commerce brands. Prior to this role, Andy worked as a FinOps Senior Associate at Flinder from July 2022 to December 2024, where responsibilities included building and managing finance functions for high-growth businesses. Andy gained substantial experience at Deloitte from April 2016 to July 2022, supporting start-ups and SMEs with bookkeeping and data analytics through the Propel by Deloitte initiative. Andy’s career also includes general management of a start-up café, along with various roles in customer service and team member positions, starting as a Customer Service Assistant at Trutex Didcot in 2007. Educational qualifications were obtained at The University of Salford, where Andy studied Music Technology.
