Don McCan

Don McCan, ASQ CQA, has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Don started their career at Bayer HealthCare Diabetes Care in 1984, where they held various roles such as Electronics Technician, Reliability Engineer, and Supplier Quality Engineer. From 2008 to 2016, they served as a Quality Systems Auditor for the same company. In 2016, Don joined Ascensia Diabetes Care, formerly known as Bayer DiabetesCare, as a Supplier Quality Engineer. Don later assumed the role of Sr. Global Quality Audit Lead in 2019. Additionally, Don has expertise in medical devices, particularly in electronic production, call center operations, artwork development, and software supplier quality audits. In 2022, they also worked as a Tax Preparer at H&R Block and has recently become semi-retired at Swiss Valley Ski and Snowboard Area. Overall, Don has built a strong foundation in quality management and auditing throughout their career.

Don McCan, ASQ CQA, has a solid education history in computer science and electronics. Don obtained an Associates degree in Computer Science from Indiana University South Bend, where they studied from 1986 to 2004. Prior to that, they pursued an Associates degree in Electronics at Ivy Tech Community College, from 1979 to 1981.

In addition to their educational background, Don also holds several certifications. Don completed the "Excel: Introduction to Macros and VBA" course offered by LinkedIn in March 2021. In November 2020, they obtained certification in "Time Management Fundamentals" from the same platform. Earlier in August 2020, Don completed the "The Six Morning Habits of High Performers" course, also offered by LinkedIn.
