Nate Tran

Nate Tran is a Machine Vision Engineer at Ascension Automation Solutions Ltd. since November 2023. Previously, Nate held the position of Mechanical Design Engineer at Casa Duro from June to September 2023 and worked as a Machine Vision Engineer at Vista Solutions Inc. from May 2022 to April 2023, where significant contributions were made in developing customized machine vision solutions for clients in the automotive and manufacturing industries. Nate also served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Guelph for Mechatronics Systems Design and Computer Aided Design and Manufacturing, facilitating projects and teaching advanced engineering concepts. Early experiences include working as a Manufacturing Applications Research Assistant at the Advanced Manufacturing Lab, conducting research for Genecis Bioindustries, and as an Engineering Research and Development Intern at Wieland Electric. Nate began a career in engineering with a summer role at Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada. Nate holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Mechatronics and Manufacturing from the University of Guelph.
