Tommy Story has extensive law enforcement experience, currently serving as a School Resource Officer since January 2019 and as a Deputy Sheriff since January 2015 at the Ascension Parish Sheriff's Office, where responsibilities include the care and custody of inmates at the Ascension Parish Jail. Prior to this role, Tommy served as Ride Operations Manager, Retail Supervisor, and Maintenance Technician at Blue Bayou/Dixie Landin from March 2009 to August 2014, overseeing training, safety, and customer service in the amusement park. Earlier experience includes working as an Assistant Manager at Winn-Dixie from March 2006 to March 2010. Tommy Story holds an Associate's degree in Criminal Justice and Corrections from Baton Rouge Community College (2013-2015) and recently completed training at the Louisiana Fire and Emergency Training Academy (January 2023 - May 2023).
