Lauren Joyce

Lauren Joyce has a diverse work experience in the fields of PR and Communications, Theology, Religious Education, and Residence Life. In 2020, they began working as a PR and Communications Manager for Ascension, where they coordinate press releases, schedules interviews, supports corporate communications, and manages the content of the Newsroom website. From 2018-2020, they served as a Middle School Theology Specialist for The Regina Academies, where they overhauled the religion curriculum for 5th-8th grades, piloted the Bible Timeline, and taught 8th grade Literature and 8th grade Grammar and Writing. From 2013-2018, they were the Director of Religious Education for Mother of Divine Providence Parish in King of Prussia, PA, where they walked with children, teens, and adults on their journeys of faith. From 2017-2018, they were an Adjunct Theology Professor at Villanova University, where they designed their own syllabus for Theology 1000. In 2011, they were an Intern for the Department of Theology and Religious Studies at Villanova University, and in 2010, they were an Office Manager for Residence Life at The Catholic University of America.

Lauren Joyce graduated from Villanova University in 2013 with a M.A. in Theology and a Certificate in Pastoral Ministry, both in Theological and Ministerial Studies. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from The Catholic University of America in 2011. Lauren has also obtained certifications in Crisis Communications Training from The PR Training Academy in June 2022 and Digital Marketing for SMBs Certification from Semrush.
