Skylar Hatfield

Skylar Hatfield has extensive experience in education, currently serving as the Assistant Director at Ascent Academies of Utah since June 2021. Prior to this role, Skylar was an Instructional Coach at Summit Academy Charter Schools from January 2021 to June 2021, focusing on grades 4-6 and grant writing for the district. Previous positions include Fourth Grade Gifted and Talented Teacher and Fourth Grade Teacher at Jordan School District from June 2017 to December 2020, as well as various roles in special education and early childhood education across several institutions. Skylar holds a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and Policy from the University of Utah and a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and Special Education from Southern Utah University.
