Dan McBride

Dan McBride is an accomplished aerospace professional with extensive experience in helicopter instruction and military operations. Currently serving as an A2 Qualified Helicopter Instructor at Ascent Flight Training since December 2020, Dan previously spent two decades in HM Forces, including significant roles such as CFS(H) Squadron QHI, Deputy Chief Instructor at the UK Defence Helicopter Flying Training School, and Officer Commanding 660 Squadron. Throughout this tenure, Dan honed expertise in training and mentoring both military and international instructors, managed substantial aviation assets, and improved training systems and operations during deployments, including a notable OP tour in Afghanistan. Dan's earlier career involved leadership roles in infantry and aviation following a commissioning course at RMA Sandhurst. Educational qualifications include a Diploma in Business Studies from Carlett Park College and O'Levels from Wellington School.
