Head Of Information Technology at Ascent Flight Training

Edward Anderson MBE has over 20 years of experience in delivering scalable technology platforms and resilient systems infrastructure. Edward has held various leadership roles in the IT sector, including Head of Information Technology at Ascent Flight Training and ICT Operations Manager at Ascent Flight Training. Edward has also served as a Training MIS Project Integration Manager at Ascent Flight Training. Prior to that, Edward worked for the Royal Marines as an RN/RM Training Management IS System Project Manager and IT Manager at the Commando Training Centre Royal Marines. Edward also held the role of D1 at the Royal Marines. Edward's experience in the Royal Navy includes serving as a Training Information System Project Lead. Edward has managed the delivery and implementation of training design and development across multiple sites.

Edward Anderson MBE completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science Networking at RMCS Shrivenham from 1994 to 1997. Edward later pursued further education and obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA Hons) in Education and Training from the University of Plymouth, studying from 2004 to 2007.

In addition to their formal education, Edward Anderson MBE has also obtained several certifications, the latest being in August 2023. These certifications include Agile Foundations, Agile Software Development, Agile Software Development: Kanban for Developers, Agile Software Development: Scrum for Developers, Agile Testing, Characteristics of a Great Scrum Master, DevOps Foundations, Develop Your Skills as a Software Project Manager, Learning Jira Software, Planning and Releasing Software with Jira, Scrum: Advanced, and Scrum: The Basics.
