Robert Burns

Robert Burns is currently the Rotary Wing Training Systems Manager at Ascent Flight Training, overseeing the rotary training solutions for the UK MFTS. Prior to this role, Robert served as an Aviation Training Specialist at the Support Helicopter Simulator Training Facility and as a Liaison Officer in the Royal Air Force. With extensive experience as a SAR Winch Operator and Loadmaster on various aircraft, Robert also holds certifications as a CFS B1 Accredited Crewman Instructor, Air Gunnery Instructor, and TRiM Practitioner.
