Tim Osborne

Chief Ground Instructor at Ascent Flight Training

Tim Osborne has a diverse work experience that spans several industries. Tim began their career in the Royal Navy as a Lt Cdr and served for 15 years. After leaving the Navy, they joined the UK Royal Air Force and worked their way up to the rank of Wing Commander. In this role, they received training and held various positions, including OC Operations Wing at RAF Shawbury and serving on the Joint Staff at the UK Embassy in Washington DC. Tim then transitioned into the civilian sector, working as a Joint Staff member at BDS Washington. Tim later joined Rodington Parish Council as a Councillor. Tim then joined Cobham, where they served as a Senior Ground School Instructor and a GTS Instructor. Tim'smost recent role was as the Chief Ground Instructor at Ascent Flight Training. Tim retired in December 2019.
