Joanna Widmier

Joanna Widmier is an accomplished marketing professional with extensive experience in engagement marketing and customer lifecycle optimization. Currently serving as the Director of Engagement Marketing at Ascent Funding since January 2021, Joanna leads a motivated team focused on retention strategies, voice of customer initiatives, and brand advocacy. Prior to this role, Joanna was a Senior Marketing Manager, where leadership in developing and marketing impactful B2C and B2B strategies was emphasized. With a background that includes a Marketing Manager position at Skills Fund and marketing roles at KIPP Austin Public Schools and The Transtec Group, Joanna has a proven track record in driving growth through strategic marketing initiatives. Joanna holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Rhetoric and Writing with a minor in Civil Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.
