Jessica Shah

Jessica Shah is a seasoned accounting professional with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as Midstream Accountant IV at Ascent Resources since May 2018, Jessica specializes in the accounting of natural gas, managing accruals, accounts receivable, and tracking gas movements and contracts, contributing to significant revenue and expense accruals. Prior to this role, Jessica worked as Accountant I at Chesapeake Energy from December 2012 to May 2018, where responsibilities included data management for revenue checks and participation in SAP software implementation. Earlier career experience includes various positions at the Oklahoma County Sheriff’s Office and Oklahoma Employees Credit Union, providing a solid foundation in finance and compliance. Jessica holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Ethics from Mid-America Christian University.
