Lee Utley is a seasoned petrophysicist with extensive experience in analyzing unconventional reservoirs, including gas shales, oil shales, tight carbonates, and tight sands. Currently serving as a Principal Petrophysicist at Ascent Resources since October 2017, Lee specializes in petrophysical analysis within the Utica/Point Pleasant play. Prior engagements include consulting roles at Utley Petrophysics, a Petrophysical Advisor position at Hess Corporation, and senior roles at Mitchell Energy and Development and Halliburton. Lee holds a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from Texas Tech University and an MBA from Southern Methodist University.
