Raki Sahai

Raki Sahai is an accomplished professional in the field of petroleum engineering with extensive experience in reservoir engineering and corporate reserves. Currently serving as Vice President at Ascent Resources since January 2017, Raki has held multiple leadership roles, including Director of Reservoir Engineering & Corporate Reserves and Director of Resource Development. In addition to industry roles, Raki is also an adjunct professor at the Mewbourne School of Petroleum and Geological Engineering at the University of Oklahoma. Prior experience includes positions as Staff Reservoir Engineer at Chesapeake Energy and Principal Technical Professional at Pinnacle Technologies, focused on reservoir simulation and well test analysis. Raki's career began at Santos Limited as a Reservoir Engineer, and earlier roles include Technical Professional at Halliburton Australia Pty Ltd. Raki holds a PhD in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Oklahoma, a Master of Science from the Colorado School of Mines, and a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Adelaide.
