Johannes Long

Johannes Long began their work experience in 2018 as a Research and Development Engineer at Exaptec. In this role, they worked on a specific project.

In 2016, Long joined Deakin University and took on multiple roles. Johannes started as a Student Ambassador, where they led workshops for primary school students, conducted tours of the engineering building, and coached a primary school team in a robotics competition. Johannes also assisted with a Lego Mindstorms program and worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant. In this latter role, Long worked on two projects, including a Glyph Recognition program and an Ecostruder machine that converted waste plastic into 3D printer filament.

Most recently, Long joined Ascent Vision Technologies (AVT) in 2019 as an Embedded System Engineer. Further details about their work at AVT were not provided.

Johannes Long attended Deakin University from 2015 to 2018, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics Engineering (Honors). Their field of study focused on Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering. In addition, in December 2016, they obtained a certification in MySQL Essential Training from Lynda.com.
