Taylor Steed

Taylor Steed has a work experience in the field of production engineering and industrial engineering. They currently work at Ascent Vision Technologies as a Production Engineer, starting in May 2021. Prior to that, they worked at BLACKHAWK from 2013 to 2021. At BLACKHAWK, Taylor held multiple roles including Sr. Supervisor Quality, S&OP and Industrial Engineer. They also served as an Industrial Engineering Intern, where they implemented lean principles to increase holster production throughput by 50% and generated an additional $100,000 profit each month. They also created and implemented engineered standards for over 50 SKU's using MOST studies. Additionally, Taylor collaborated with cross-functional teams to set up the manufacturing plan for a $20 million 5-year military contract.

Taylor Steed attended Montana State University-Bozeman from 2009 to 2014, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Industrial Engineering. In terms of additional certifications, Taylor obtained an ISO 9001 Lead Auditor - Quality Certification from IRCA | International Register of Certificated Auditors in June 2020 and a Maynard Operation Sequence Technique (MOST) certification from Accenture in December 2013.
