Dr. Paudyal Bishnuhari has a strong background in clinical development and research in the pharmaceutical industry. Currently, they serve as the Associate Medical Director in the Clinical Development Department at Ascentage Pharma since September 2022. Prior to this role, they held the position of Senior Clinical Scientist/Medical Monitor at Ascentage Pharmaceuticals from August 2021.
Before joining Ascentage Pharma, Dr. Bishnuhari worked at Endo Pharmaceuticals from 2018 to 2021 as a Clinical Scientist. In this role, they managed multiple study activities, from start-up to closeout, ensuring study timelines and deliverables were met within budget. Paudyal also oversaw clinical trials drug development, operations, and data management. From 2016 to 2018, Dr. Bishnuhari held the position of Manager, Clinical Imaging Scientist, Oncology at Eisai Pharmaceutical. In this role, they designed, reviewed, and wrote protocols, imaging charters, SOPs, case report forms (CRFs), and clinical study reports (CSRs). Paudyal also managed contract research organizations (CROs) and vendors to ensure successful conduct of studies within budget and regulatory requirements.
Earlier in their career, Dr. Bishnuhari worked at Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals as a Research Associate from 2010 to 2016. Their responsibilities included evaluating different compounds using various imaging modalities and conducting in vivo experiments. Paudyal also performed radiochemistry labeling of proteins for imaging and developed molecular imaging biomarkers.
Dr. Bishnuhari began their career as a JSPS Fellow in Oncology at Gunma University from 2008 to 2010.
