Yicheng Yang

Yicheng Yang, Ph.D has a diverse work experience in the field of health economics and market access. Yicheng is currently working as an Associate Director in Market Access & HEOR at Ascentage Pharma since September 2018. Prior to this, they served as a Senior Health Economics & Market Access Manager at The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson from June 2014 to June 2018. Yicheng has also worked as a Health Economics & Outcomes Research Manager at Eli Lilly and Company from April 2011 to June 2014, where they provided support for product access and reimbursement through HEOR projects and real-world evidence generation. Additionally, Yicheng has experience as a Key Account Supervisor at Eisai from January 2010 to April 2011, where they played a pivotal role in driving market access at the sub-provincial and hospital levels. Yicheng began their career as a Research Fellow at China Center for Health Economic Research, Peking University from September 2007 to September 2008. Yicheng Yang, Ph.D has an extensive education history in the field of pharmaceutical and health economics. Yicheng began their academic journey in 1999 at Tianjin University, where they completed their Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, and Administration in 2003.

Continuing their studies at Tianjin University, Yicheng pursued a Master's degree in Medicinal and Pharmaceutical Chemistry from 2003 to 2006. During this period, they gained in-depth knowledge and skills in this specialized area of expertise.

In 2006, Yicheng embarked on a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) program in Pharmacoeconomics/Pharmaceutical Economics at Tianjin University. Yicheng dedicated three years to their doctoral studies, completing their degree in 2009.

To further enrich their understanding of health economics, Yicheng availed himself of a PhD Fellowship opportunity at Peking University from 2007 to 2008. This experience undoubtedly broadened their perspective and provided valuable insights in the field.
