Zhiyan (Eric) Liang has a significant amount of work experience in the field of biomedical research and pharmaceuticals. Zhiyan(Eric) started their career at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Inc in 2004 as a Scientist and eventually became a Lab Head. In 2006, they joined BMS as a Research Investigator and held the position of Lab Head. After that, they worked at MedImmune as a Scientist from 2008 to 2010. At Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research (NIBR), they served as a Global Program Manager from 2010 to 2018. Currently, Zhiyan is the Vice President of Clinical Biomarker and Translational Medicine at Ascentage Pharma, a position they have held since 2018. Zhiyan(Eric) has gained extensive experience and expertise throughout their career.

Zhiyan(Eric) Liang pursued their education with utmost dedication and embarked on an academic journey in the field of science. From 1991 to 1996, they attended Fudan University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry. Building on this solid foundation, they then advanced their studies at UT Southwestern Medical Center from 1996 to 2002. During this time, they obtained a Ph.D. in Immunology, demonstrating their tenacity and passion for understanding the complexities of the immune system. Through their educational pursuits, Zhiyan(Eric) Liang has laid the groundwork to excel in the scientific realm.
