David Gotthold

David Gotthold is an experienced engineer and critical facilities manager with a strong background in nuclear engineering. Since January 2020, David has been with Ascent, LLC, where responsibilities include managing regulatory relationships and providing staff training on spill prevention. Prior experience includes serving as a radiological control technician at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, overseeing radiation meter inventory, and collaborating with visiting groups. David also worked as an auxiliary operator at Exelon Nuclear, addressing critical issues and managing nuclear plant operations. Earlier roles include a sales and marketing representative at SNP Worldwide LLC and a nuclear electrician's mate in the US Navy, where qualifications included shutdown reactor operations and mentoring personnel. David holds a Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and an Associate of Science from Pellissippi State Community College.
