Bhavesh Thakrar

Bhavesh Thakrar has extensive experience in data and insight roles in various companies. Bhavesh started their career at Bradford & Bingley as a Consultant in 2003, followed by a role as a Central Technical Business Consultant at Abbey from 2004 to 2006. Bhavesh then joined Sky IQ, Customer Intelligence Services in 2006 and held roles such as Analyst, Lead Analyst, and Strategic Insight Consultant. During their time at Sky, they worked on key strategic projects, developed models to reduce churn rates, and mentored junior team members. In 2012, Bhavesh joined PayPal as a Senior Product Owner, where they led EMEA projects until 2015. Bhavesh then moved to Sky as a Data Strategy Controller, Insight Controller, and Insight Delivery Manager. Bhavesh's most recent experience is at Ascential, where they have been working as a Data & Insight Director since 2019.

Bhavesh Thakrar completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration and Management from the University of Leicester from 2010 to 2013. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the same university from 1997 to 2000. Bhavesh attended Wyggeston Queen Elizabeth 1 College from 1995 to 1997 and Rushey Mead Secondary School from 1990 to 1995. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained various certifications, including "Building Your Marketing Technology Stack" and "Programmatic Advertising Foundations" from LinkedIn in 2018.
