Jennifer Etter

Associate Director, Scientific Operations at Ascidian Therapeutics

Jennifer Etter has worked in various roles in the scientific and research fields since 2010. Jennifer began their career as a Resident Assistant at the University of Connecticut, then became a Research and Development Intern at Revision Military in 2012. In 2013, they were a Lead Senior Design Teaching Assistant and Project Advisor and Teaching and Grading Assistant at the University of Connecticut. In 2014, they were a Research Assistant at UCONN HEALTH and a Research Laboratory Technician at the University of Vermont College of Medicine. From 2015 to 2017, they were a Research Assistant and Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Vermont. In 2017, they were a Biomedical Engineering Instructor at The Governor's Institutes of Vermont. From 2019 to 2021, they were a Research Operations Manager at Harvard Medical School and is currently an Associate Director of Scientific Operations at Ascidian Therapeutics.

Jennifer Etter has a comprehensive educational background. Jennifer obtained their High School Diploma from Essex High School in 2009. Jennifer then attended University of Connecticut and graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Biomedical/Medical Engineering in 2013. Following this, they obtained a Master of Science (MS) in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from University of Connecticut in 2015. In 2019, they completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Mechanical Engineering from University of Vermont. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Animal Care and Use (IACUC), Basic Biosafety Training - Animal Biosafety, and Working with Mice in Research Settings from CITI Program, A Division of BRANY in 2017.
