Geert Trossaert

Geert Trossaert has extensive work experience in the field of R&D, quality, and management. Geert is currently the VP of R&D and Quality/HSE and Sustainability, as well as the Managing Director at Ascorium Industries and Ascorium Belgium NV, respectively. Previously, they held various positions at Recticel, including Vice President of R&D and Quality, Vice President of R&D and Quality - Business Unit Manager Exteriors, Quality & Product Manager, Materials Manager, and R&D Manager Colo-Fast automotive applications. Geert has a wealth of experience in quality management, customer relations, product development, and operational steering.

Geert Trossaert has a diverse education history. Geert completed their Ph.D. in Polymer Chemistry at Ghent University from 1982 to 1992. Prior to that, they attended College Zottegem from 1977 to 1982. In 2000 and 2001, they pursued a Postgraduate degree in Business Management at KU Leuven. Later on, in 2007 and 2008, they attended Vlerick Business School to study Middle Management. Lastly, in 2010 and 2011, they participated in a Master Class in Quality Management at Antwerp Management School.
