Nicholas Kaminsky

Nicholas Kaminsky currently serves as the Head of Cybersecurity Governance, Risk & Compliance at Ascot Group, having joined in June 2024. Prior to this role, Nicholas held the position of Director of IT Governance, Risk, and Compliance at Markel from 2021 to June 2024, where significant advancements included the establishment of a proactive Risk Control Self Assessment process. Nicholas's extensive experience in governance, risk, and compliance began at Prudential Financial (2008-2021), where the first IT Risk Management Framework was designed and implemented. Earlier roles included Director of Risk Management at Prudential and Senior Information Technology Auditor at Wilmington Finance, with initial experience as an IT Auditor at Cigna Healthcare and as a Software QA Engineer at Octagon Research. Nicholas is pursuing a Master of Science in Cybersecurity Policy at Villanova University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Technology from Cabrini University.
