Steve Guijarro

Steve Guijarro is the current U.S Chief Risk Officer & Group Head of Exposure Management at Ascot Group. Prior to this, they worked at S&P Global Ratings for four years, first as an Associate Director and then as a Senior Director. In their role at S&P Global Ratings, they were responsible for developing enterprise risk management assessments on complex insurance companies, presenting ERM opinions to rating committees, and publishing analytical reports for senior executives and board members. Steve was also the primary credit analyst for corporate credits as well as P&C insurance companies.

Prior to working at S&P Global Ratings, Steve Guijarro worked at Marsh as a consultant and then as Vice President for three years. In their role as Vice President, they were responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company and ensuring that all projects were completed on time and within budget.

Steve Guijarro has a wealth of experience in the risk management field and has proven himself to be an excellent leader and mentor. Steve is currently using their skills to help Ascot Group manage their exposure to risk and ensure that they are prepared for any eventuality.

Steve Guijarro received a Master of Science in Applied Mathematics from LIU Post and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Cornell University.

Steve Guijarro reports to Andrew Brooks, Group CEO. They work with Neill Currie - Executive Chairman, Will Chen - CFO, U.S., and Jeff Sipos - General Counsel.
