Salig Chada has extensive work experience in the field of business development and leadership. From 2009 to present, they have served as the Vice President of Public Sector at ASD Global, where they have been responsible for strategy, teaming, marketing, positioning, business development, account management, and market growth in the Federal sector. During this time, they have established strategic alliances and partnerships with companies such as General Dynamics, Deloitte, CACI, and SAIC.
Prior to their current role, from 2000 to 2009, Chada held multiple positions at ASD Global, including Director of Business Development. In this role, they consistently exceeded yearly quotas and closed high-value deals. Salig played a key role in the successful pursuit, win, and program management of the Expeditionary Combat Support System, a $750 million engagement for the United States Air Force involving the implementation of the Oracle eBusiness suite at multiple military locations. Salig also led the winning bid for the Department of Industrial Relations Electronic Adjudication Management System, as well as secured contracts for the design and integration of a Centralized Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition architecture solution for the California Department of Water Resources.
Chada also has experience as a Capture & Project Manager, leading the capture and delivery of the Enterprise Single Supply solution within the Department of Defense. Additionally, they successfully sold and delivered a COTS Blackboard and PeopleSoft eLearning solution to the RH Smith Business School, University of Maryland.
Before joining ASD Global, Chada worked as an Assistant Manager at Citigroup from 1996 to 1997 and as an Analyst at Sterling Finance in 1995.
Salig Chada pursued their education in a chronological manner. Salig completed their high school education at St. Paul's School Darjeeling from 1983 to 1990. Following that, they attended the University of Madras from 1990 to 1993, where they earned their Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. Later, they enrolled at the University of Mumbai and obtained a Master of Arts degree in Economics and Statistics from 1993 to 1995. Their pursuit of knowledge continued as they pursued a Master of Business Administration degree in Finance, IT, and Marketing at HPU from 1998 to 2000.
