Clare Davey

Clare Davey is an experienced professional in the renewable energy sector, currently serving as the Category Lead for Energy Strategy & Renewables at Asda since April 2025. Prior to this role, Clare worked at Morrisons from January 2021 to April 2025 as a Property Manager focused on renewable energy, where responsibilities included managing profit & loss for a significant cost line, driving energy consumption reduction initiatives, and delivering capital investment programs, including solar PV systems. Clare's background also includes serving as an Associate at Carter Jonas from August 2012 to December 2020, during which time expertise in solar PV, wind, and EV charging was developed, alongside strong project management and business development skills. Earlier experience includes positions as an Energy Specialist and Senior Energy Specialist at Prowind GmbH, and a foundation in customer service at WHSmith. Clare holds a BSc in Geography from the University of Chester.
