David Meier

David Meier has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. David has held various executive positions in companies such as Aero Systems Engineering and MTS Systems. At Aero Systems Engineering, they served as the President & CEO from June 2015 onwards, prior to which they were the Executive Vice President for a short period. David also held the role of Vice President for Business Development, Marketing, and Sales from September 2012 to January 2015, and Vice President for Business Development and Strategy from December 2011 to September 2012.

Meier was also a board member for Aerospace Fabrication & Materials since May 2014. In their earlier career, they held multiple roles at MTS Systems, including Vice President Worldwide Selling, Marketing, and Customer Service, Vice President Worldwide Selling, Vice President Asia and Europe, Vice President Asia, and Vice President Business Development. David was also the Director of Marketing for Ground Vehicles.

Before joining MTS Systems, Meier worked at Aero Systems Engineering and FluiDyne Engineering, where they held the positions of Market Manager and Applications/Marketing Engineer, respectively. Overall, Meier's work experience showcases their expertise in business strategy, sales, marketing, and executive leadership roles in the aerospace and defense industries.

David Meier completed their Bachelor's of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota from 1985 to 1990. David then pursued further education at the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management, where they obtained a Master's of Business Administration degree in Strategic Management and Marketing from 1991 to 1994.
