Hamish Buchan is a seasoned business analyst with a career spanning from 2004 to the present. Currently serving as the Lead Business Analyst at The Alberta School Employee Benefit Plan (ASEBP) since 2018, Buchan focuses on enhancing case management processes and developing internal business analysis practices, notably completing a technology review project that provided insights for future digital automation. Previously, Buchan worked at Accenture from 2007 to 2018, where expertise was applied in optimizing insurance and medical business processes for the Workers Compensation Board of Alberta, facilitating numerous Joint Application Design sessions. Earlier experience includes leading a team of software developers at Advanis from 2004 to 2007, contributing valuable leadership skills. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Alberta and further studies at NAIT.
