Ali Erdem Eken

Ali Erdem Eken, PhD, serves as Chief Team Leader and Materials Design Chief Engineer at Aselsan since 2012, with a progressive career leading to roles including Lead Materials Engineer and Senior Materials Engineer. Prior to Aselsan, Ali Eken was a Research Associate at Hamburg University of Technology from February 2009 to September 2012, contributing to a project on the kinetics of induced percolation in carbon nanotube/polymer suspensions. Earlier academic endeavors include a position as a Teaching/Research Assistant at Middle East Technical University from 2005 to 2009, involving assistance in materials science courses and research on high-temperature thermoelectric properties of calcium cobaltites. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Materials Science from Hamburg University of Technology and both an M.Sc. and B.Sc. in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering from Middle East Technical University.
