Fatih Emre Şimşek

Fatih Emre Şimşek is a seasoned Lead Computer Vision Engineer at Aselsan since February 2013, specializing in multi-object tracking, surveillance classification, data visualization, and video analytics using Pytorch, C/C++, and Python. Previous roles include Computer Vision Engineer and Embedded Software Design Engineer, where responsibilities encompassed embedded Linux design and microcontroller design. As a Senior Digital Design Engineer, Fatih led a team of approximately ten FPGA design engineers and oversaw the development of FPGAs for diverse projects, focusing on video and image processing algorithms in VHDL/Verilog. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Electronics Engineering from Gebze Technical University and multiple degrees in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Computer Science from Bilkent University.
