Alireza Alamdar

Alireza Alamdar is a Senior Robotics Engineer at Asensus Surgical since July 2022, with a rich background in robotics and mechanical engineering. Previously, Alireza served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at LCSR JHU Robotics from March 2020 to July 2022, focusing on the design and development of a robot for eye surgery. Prior to that, Alireza was the Head Designer and Head of R&D at Sina Robotics and Medical Innovators Co. Ltd. from April 2015 to March 2020, and the Head Designer at Parseh Intelligent Surgical System Co. (Parsiss) from April 2014 to April 2015. Alireza holds a Bachelor's degree, a Master's degree, and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Mechanical Engineering, all from Sharif University of Technology, obtained between 2003 and 2019.
