Shawn Pierpont

Shawn Pierpont has extensive experience in software engineering, most notably serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Asensus Surgical since September 2018, where responsibilities included developing an Arduino-based relay control board and implementing firmware for next-generation products. Previous experience includes internships at TransEnterix, Inc., where Shawn contributed to software system tests and documentation, and designed a Windows service for project synchronization. Early career experience also includes a sales representative position at Vector Marketing. Shawn holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from York College of Pennsylvania, obtained in 2018.
