Zolboo Batsaikhan

Zolboo Batsaikhan is a Robotics Control Software Engineer at Asensus Surgical, specializing in the design and implementation of advanced control algorithms for surgical manipulators and instruments since May 2022. Previously, Zolboo served as a Robotics Engineer Intern, developing a simulation for a surgical robot and control algorithms in C++. Zolboo's experience includes a role as a Graduate Research Assistant at AMMI Lab, focusing on robotic systems for prostate cancer treatment and conducting verification and validation testing in FDA-regulated environments. Additional roles include a Technical Sales Executive at MINES UP LLC and an Undergraduate Student Researcher at Oyu Tolgoi LLC, with a background in mechanical design and maintenance from internships at Liebherr Mining, Transwest Mongolia LLC, and Wagner Asia Equipment LLC. Zolboo holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Hawaii at Manoa and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from GMIT.
