Jonathan Cheung has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Jonathan'smost recent position is as a Junior Data Scientist at Angstrom, which began in June 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Research and Development Intern at the Toronto Blue Jays from June 2022 to December 2022. During their internship, they focused on retraining regression models for pitch effectiveness assessment, quantifying uncertainty in projection models for player performance, and estimating workload for minor league position players.
Before their time at the Blue Jays, Jonathan was a Data Scientist Intern at Tetra Laval International from September 2021 to May 2022. Jonathan also gained experience as an Actuarial Intern at AIG Life in 2019.
