Hartwig Hufnagl

Hartwig Hufnagl currently serves as Vorstandsdirektor für BAU und BETRIEB/COO at ASFINAG since February 2019, overseeing operations, maintenance, planning, construction, strategy, innovation, research and development, marketing, communication, and compliance. Hufnagl also holds positions as Vizepräsident at ÖVG - Österreichische Verkehrswissenschaftliche Gesellschaft, Aufsichtsratsvorsitzender at ASFINAG Bau Management GmbH, ASFINAG Service GmbH, and ASFINAG Alpenstraßen GmbH, and is an executive board member at Österreichische Bautechnik Vereinigung. Previously, Hufnagl was involved with ÖBB-Postbus GmbH and viadonau in supervisory roles, and served as Kabinettschef-Stellvertreter at Bundesministeriums für Verkehr, Innovation und Technologie. Hufnagl has a Master’s degree in International Politics and International Relations from Université de Paris XI and a Magister in Legal Sciences from Universität Salzburg.
