Nick Sempere

Nick Sempere has a diverse work experience. Nick started their career as a Software Engineering Intern at Homesite Insurance in 2015 and then worked as a Customer Services Representative at Tufts University. In 2016, they led the development of ExxonMobil's new IT Strategic Planning website as a Software Development Intern. Nick then worked as a Teaching Assistant for Computation Theory at Tufts University in 2017.

During the same year, Nick took on the role of Lead Web Developer at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where they organized and managed development efforts for the LobbyView project. Nick also expanded the development team and built a RESTful API for accessing LobbyView data.

From 2017 to 2019, they worked at Causality Link as a Full Stack Developer, where they built and owned key software components and made informed design choices. Nick identified opportunities for improvement and executed associated development to meet user needs.

In 2020, Nick became a Founder of Batch 27 at 500 Global. Finally, they are currently serving as the VP of Engineering at Ash Wellness, starting in May 2020.

Nick Sempere completed their education chronologically, starting with their high school education at The Awty International School from 2009 to 2013. There, they pursued the International Baccalaureate program. Following their high school graduation, from 2013 to 2017, they attended Tufts University, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science. Lastly, in 2019 to 2020, they enrolled at Cornell Tech, where they pursued a Master's of Engineering degree in Computer Science.
