Richard Johnson

Richard Johnson serves as the Executive Vice President and Chief Credit Officer at National Capital Bank since September 2023. Prior to this role, Richard held significant positions in the banking sector, including Senior Vice President and Chief Consumer Lending Officer at MainStreet Bank and Chief Consumer Lending Officer at Virginia Heritage Bank. Richard also possesses extensive experience in indirect lending from tenure at PNC and Community Bank of Northern Virginia, managing large teams and substantial loan portfolios. Additionally, Richard contributes to community service as a Volunteer Firefighter and EMT with the Ashburn Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department since October 2021. Richard earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communications from Elon University.
