Rolando Rivera

Rolando Rivera is an experienced technical leader and software engineer with a comprehensive background in software development and team management. Currently serving as Technical Team Lead at GoCanvas since May 2019, Rolando owns the technical solution for analytics and oversees a high availability system using AWS EKS Kubernetes. Rolando has previously held significant roles, including Lead Software Engineer at Comcast, where responsibilities included enhancing user experience and designing scalable infrastructure, and positions at AOL and EDS, where roles encompassed system design and development across various applications. With a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Universidad de Puerto Rico, Rolando combines technical expertise with effective team leadership in both corporate and volunteer capacities, including service as a Fire Fighter/EMT with Ashburn Volunteer Fire & Rescue.
